What we collect

Organiser accounts: name, work email, organisation, and a securely hashed password. Event participants: the business profile submitted at registration or imported by the event organiser — company, contact name, work email, phone, country, products and interests — used solely to propose and schedule business meetings at that event. Website visitors: lead-form submissions (name, email, message), chatbot conversations, and aggregate page-view counts with campaign source (UTM). We do not use third-party advertising cookies or sell personal data.

How we use it

To run the business-matching programme you or your event organiser signed up for: matching proposals, meeting schedules, and the transactional emails that deliver them (approvals, proposals, schedules, reminders, follow-ups). Marketing leads are used to respond to your enquiry. Chatbot conversations are reviewed to answer you and improve the assistant's accuracy.

Who processes it

Data is stored on Cloudflare's global infrastructure (Workers, D1 database) and emails are sent through Cloudflare Email Service. The chatbot runs on Cloudflare Workers AI; conversations are not used by Cloudflare to train models. We share participant profiles only within the event they registered for — with the counterparts they are matched with and the event's organiser.

Retention & your rights

Event data is retained while the organiser's account is active so post-event reports keep working. You may request access, correction, or deletion of your personal data at any time — email magazine@messemeet.com and we will respond within 30 days. Participants may also ask their event organiser to remove them.
